RE: How to install OEM Licences on a Windows 2003 R2 retail version There is no way to add OEM licenses to a Retail install. The major
difference between OEM and Retail is that retail can be moved to different
hardware. The OEM licenses die with the hardware. Due to this limitation
OEM licenses are significantly cheaper, and technically you should not have
been sold any OEM licenses without a hardware sale at the same time. Case in
point, if your server is Retail then you need Retail CALs. You may be sol
with the CALs you have. Sorry.
