Default RE: SBS2008 moving the default users public folder

There is no predefined task to do it in SBS console, however you can do it
manualy.

create directory Public on D: drive

then from Administrator cmd

robocopy C:\Users\Public\ D:\Public\ /MIR /SEC /SECFIX

In SBS Console go to Shares and Websites, on Shares Tab find Public
from side menu (Tasks) Choose stop sharing this folder

Also from sidebar click Add new shared folder

Follow the wizard to share your new folder on d drive in share name type
Public

In share settings choose approperiatte permissions.

With kind regards

This did not work for me all though I did stop sharing the folder before
trying to robocopy
the error was 5 and had to do with permissions on the desktop.ini file in a
subfolder sample music.

I'm concerned that there is no wizard to move this folder this in it self
tells me that the system expects this folder to exist and is to be located on
the c drive.
